So, as I write this on Christmas Eve Eve, I’m left to reflect on an amazing year of change and good fortune.
I decided at the start of the year that I was going to re-brand my business and that it would also include a name change, quite a risky thing to do bearing in mind I’d been known as ChunkyMunky for the past 10-15 years, anyway I did, I had a new website built to go with the re-branding thanks to Vinny Smith of Synergy Entertainment of Norwich, and I haven’t looked back since, and for that I am hugely appreciative Vinny.
Having started our Best Of British Christmas Parties in late November, we now come to our last day of parties for 2016 and what a blast they have been, I have loved every single one of them, they’ve been BRILLIANT, lets hope we see you all again next year at Three Rivers.
I also decided that I wanted to improve as a Wedding DJ so decided I would embark on a journey of intense workshops to help me on my way being tutored by the Wedding Guru, Derek Pengelly along with a room full professional wedding DJs & Hosts who between probably know everything there is to know about the industry, special thanks must go to Terry Lewis, Euan Bass, Tony Winyard & Barney Grossman for your personal messages, your advice and your seminars.
My business is about creating long lasting memories through delivering THE perfect wedding day experience and I’ve been so lucky to have worked with some truly fantastic Brides & Groom this year, I hope you all enjoy a happy & healthy future together in your new married lives.
To cap the year off by being voted Best Wedding DJ for 2017 in the East of England by The Wedding Industry Awards was both a complete shock and a huge honour, I couldn’t have done it without the kind words written by my Brides & Grooms of last year. I’ve followed in the footsteps of some great Wedding DJ’s some of whom were in those training workshops delivering memorable seminars and those same people are THE very people I’ve looked up to and aspired to be like.
I now go onto the National Final in London at The Café de Paris in January.
A huge thankyou to everyone single one of you especially Teresa for putting up with no social life and a grumpy tired DJ on a Sunday.
Here’s to a Happy Christmas & a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2017.Share this:
